Buckner Family Place in Amarillo provides single parent families the opportunity to live in a safe secure environment while completing his or her educational or vocational goals and learn the necessary skills needed to become self-sufficient.
Families are provided support through the provision of affordable housing, financial assistance, and case management services which include referrals to parenting education, budget training, life skills and individual and group counseling.
Buckner Family Place also extends services to individuals with physical disabilities while the program participant completes his or her educational or vocational goals.
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older and be currently enrolled in an educational or vocational program.
